"If the Bible is true; if Yeshua is the King of the Jews, then the Messianic Jewish movement is the most important phenomenon of our times. It is the distinguishing feature indicating that the world has come to a turning point."
Abram Poljak (for bio click HERE)

     YEDIDEI ADONAI FELLOWSHIP DECORUM.
Yedidei Adonai means just that: HaShem’s covenanted friends.

Friendship is based on a mutual agreement to get along and walk together and support one another. We believe that the true measure of our love for HaShem and of our discipleship to Yeshua is in our ability to do just that: get along so we can work together for the benefit of the Kingdom (Kingdom = people).

As such, all are welcome to our fellowship, but we trust that as whereas you may hold to particular traditions, views, concepts, expressions of faith or doctrines, you will respect the particular tradition, views, concepts, expressions of faith or doctrines of Yedidei Adonai while with us.

As such, within the framework of our congregational fellowship:
  • We use circumlocutions such as Abba, Avinu, Father, HaShem, Adonai, Yah, LORD, when praying to or referring to The Father.
  • Those approaching the bima for Torah reading cover their heads.
  • We hold to Paul’s advice that all prophecies should first be checked by the body of elders before being proposed to the body (1 Cor 14:29)
  • All foreign tongues used in service are translated (1 Cor 14:5). We also keep what is referred to as glossolalia (Pentecostal 'tongues') for private practice.
  • We keep conversations and discussions civil, polite, avoiding polemical and controversial subjects in politics, theology, and personal Torah applications. These again can be kept for private discussions.

Men and women should wear a head covering (Tallit for men and scarves or feminine prayer shawls for women) when called to read from the Torah.

We ask that you come to congregation dressed modestly.
